E-LEARNING

E-Learning is a concept used to describe a method of learning which allows one to be educated on any subject at any time and in many different ways. It can be used for distance learning and flexible learning but can also be used in conjunction with face to face learning. This use of a combination of multiple approaches to learning is known as blended learning. E-Learning can be delivered through different forms such as, Multimedia CD-ROMs, PDA's, screencasts, web-based teaching materials, hypermedia, wiki, text chat, ePortfolios and so on.
